I'm a descendant of eight families of Ukrainian immigrants who were part of the massive wave which brought 171,500 Ukrainians to Canada between 1891 and 1914. As such I've long been fascinated by their history, both the forces that drove them here and the life they led after their arrival.
In these pages I hope to share some of the results of my research and to help others who are looking into their own past.
